The Journey Begins

Beginning the journey again for that coveted paper, a college degree. I started out as an eager 18 year old many, many years ago and stopped for a mission to Canada, a marriage to a wonderful husband and six fantastic children. Now I am the Nona for six grandchildren!

In 2014 I begin Pathways to get a college degree and in 2016 I paused to go on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saint and served in the MTC Dental Clinic of the Philippines located in Metro Manila.

After getting back from the Philippines in April, I have visited family in Utah three times, also North Carolina, and Idaho. Then there are the trips to Redding, California and Sacramento, California to get reacquainted with grandchildren and daughter-in-laws. There was the Redding Carr fire for adventure and the youngest two granddaughters born in September to spice things up!  The truth is I’m done running around and I’m looking forward to normal………sleeping in the same bed and waking up in the same house two weeks in a row.

I was so happy to learn that one of the classes I am taking this fall is all about media, photos and design. We were asked to begin a blog to post our assignments. So come and check out what I’m learning and give a few tips if you know more about what I’m doing than I appear to be sharing!

Thanks for joining me!
