First Assignment Example

In order to figure out exactly how my assignment is suppose to work, I’ve decided to follow exactly what the example instructions say. Since Shaunna Ludlow (my oldest niece) has followed, read and commented for years on my blogger posts, I know she will read these posts. I thought I’d use her as my guinea pig…..er….example, in figuring out how this dashboard and system works.

Shaunna, Zack and their children had a great time on a new boat this year

So far so good…..toggling back and forth is interesting……I really hate when my drop down menu does not read exactly like the drop down menu in the instructional video.  So my menu has about 7 categories and his menu has two….it’s my best guess……hope for the best…wait, I have many more options than his screenshot is showing……..I love learning (cough, cough).  So I do not have an option anywhere that says whether or not my video is “unlisted”. What is unlisted? Google……ok there are three settings to a video: private, public or unlisted which means someone needs to have the url in order to view it.  Too bad, I already made my video public so my Comm 102 class could see it. I am not making another video just to enlist it and use it for an example. Public will have to do.

Ok, learning curve frustration. I can’t figure out how to “embed” my video to this post. The screen of my youtube doesn’t work like the instructional video. My is listed as a beta studio and I have no idea how to change it to whatever his studio looks like. Actually I love google…….I’ll have to go figure this one out on my own.

Just in case you want to know (or I want to come back and remember) here is the link in google:how to embed youtube video in wordpress post

Ok, that didn’t work out right…….

Hey classic studio can be clicked in bottom left corner….Ok, now I’m on track again. Looking more like the instructional video….

Wow! Success!!!!!!!
